HO.EP Etching Press 30 & 50 table model

The HO.EP was designed to offer a high-performance technical tool at a reasonable price, as appropriate for professionals as for amateurs. The adjustable springs between the two cylinders to create the space necessary for linography or xylography. Its drivewheel, attached directly to the upper cylinder, allows constant movement. The press bed, in synthetic material, is exceptionally rigid ; the runners facilitate foreward movement. For an additional fee, it can be equipped with a 3mm-thick steel press bed.

This press is easily mounted, with four screws on any stable surface. In all, a complete press that gives excellent results.

ETCHING PRESS HPV

This press is equipped with a demultiplication system with two gearwheels and a double chain creating easy, comfortable cranking. If desired, the chain can be made taut with a tension system above the upper cylinder.

The press bed is in rigid synthentic material, the wheel bars in rustproof steel. While removing pressure, the upper cylinder is pushed upwards by two springs. The space remaining between the upper cylinder and the bed then enables the positioning and adjusting for printing.

Thanks to the springs, the press is also excellent for linoleum cuts and wood engraving. The upper cylinder may be lifted sufficiently to permit woodblock access. During printing, cardboard or leather can be used under the pressure screw to increase flexibility. The upper cylinder is mounted on self-lubricating bronze cushions and the lower cylinder precision ball bearings. The drivewheel can be disassembled. The press, mounted with the help of a wrench, is delivered with 2 varnished wooden tablets for support.

AQUATINT BOX BGA-50

Takes plates up to 50 x 65 cm. The height of the upper section encourages very even powdering. The handle set and precision ball bearings permit flexible, regular movement. Very smooth inner walls prevent the dust from sticking. Suction handle opens for access to inner grid.

HOTPLATE HOP-35

Simple version, easy to stow, to heat metalplates up to 85·C. Temperature controled by thermostat (+/- 2·C precision). Allows easy inking in depth and wiping off, melts soft ground or resin but does not “cook” for evident security reasons. Is in conformity with rules in all EC countries. Surface 35x50cm, 9cm high, power 220 Volts and 750 Watts. Heating up time 5 minutes.

HOTPLATE SERIE VTL

The temperature of the heating plate is regulated by a thermostat. The temperature can be monitored between 30-85·C 230 volts).

JS BLOTTER

A blotter paper in 80x120-cm sheets, roughly 600 gr/m2, and about 1mm thick. Adic-freee and chlorure-free. This is a wool felt with perfect absorption.

HDP ACID-RESISTANT ETCHING TRAY

Very solid acid tray in white high density polypropylene, 30x40cm inside and 7cm high for etching plates up to 30x40cm to economize the volume of acid needed.

PVC ACID-RESISTANT ETCHING TRAY

Acid bacs with evacuation robinet, height 10 cm, rigid PVC.

VENTILATED, ACID-RESISTANT ETCHING TRAY

A ecological and efficient solution to protect etching studios from harmful fumes. An evacuation motor mounted directly on the tray inhales gas, which escapes from the edges (closed during the procedure by a hermetically sealed, transparent cover). Delivered with an evacuation tube, 200cm-long and 25cm in diameter, in 220V standard or triphase, on a metallic surface. External dimensions 110 x 100 x 94 cm, approximate weight 70 kg. Other formats and combinations can be delivered on order.

ACID CLOSET

For further protection from potential problems stemming from working with aggressive chemical products, we have found an excellent solution.

The acid closet is a closed space with mechanical evacuation of harmful fumes. The "box" exists in 2 formats: 60x100cm and 75 x 150 cm (external dimensions). Delivered assembled, it can be placed on any stable and protected (acid-resistant) surface. Even when the door is open, air outside is hardly affected by the gas emanating from inside. To guarantee that it remain leakproof, even over a long period of time, the evacuation system must be hooked up to an outlet that conforms to standards. On-site evaluation of the set-up by a licensed specialist is indispensable for installation. For any installation, an evacuation motor is essential. It can be delivered by Joop Stoop or acquired via your installer. A model of this closet is visible at our showroom, at 12, rue le Brun in Paris.
