The JM-25 is a small press but it has all the manufacturing qualities of a serious press.
The drive is in direct engagement with the lower cylinder.
It will be important to insert a pile of rigid cardboard of about 2cm (not delivered) between the bearing and the metal plate that receives the pressure screw.
This addition allows to give the necessary flexibility in the action of the pressure.
4 screws are included to fix it on a support.
It is delivered without felt.

This press is packed in a carton, the weight is about 14 kg.

Maintenance
The bearings are self-lubricating.
All unpainted steel parts are protected with a transparent protective layer, except for the cylinders of course.
It is preferable to use the press in a heated room to avoid any risk of rust on the cylinders. Also the use of acid for etching is done in another room. The acid vapors are very corrosive and attack the steel which is not protected.
